Following education at the University of Buffalo (NY) and service as an Infantry Officer in the US Army, Dick Sheehan spent the next 10 years in the corporate world. He was involved in sales, marketing, advertising and brand development, nationally and internationally. In 1978 he moved his young family to northern Palm Beach County, Florida and incorporated the business in 1980. Since then, Dick and his team have assisted hundreds of clients in the acquisition or sale of residential and commercial property here on Florida’s Treasure Coast. Sheehan has served the community for over 30 years on various committees and boards of organizations, and has chaired a number of charitable events. As Chairman of Children’s Golf Foundation, he was founder of the First Tee of the Palm Beaches.
Dick also served for 10 years on the Governing Board of the Loxahatchee River Environmental District; a state agency serving the 73 square mile Encon District. He is a past Member of the Florida Bar Association 15th Judicial Court Grievance Committee. He was part of the senior development team of Admirals Cove, where he has served on both the Club and POA Governing Boards (Presently, representing the Club’s Board of Governors as Golf Chairman); and as a Director of the Palm Beach County Amateur Golf Association. Dick is also the Chairman Emeritus of The First Tee of the Palm Beaches. As a member of the business community, Dick enjoys the respect of many of the area’s foremost law firms, accounting firms, title companies and other brokerage firms. Dick has been named by Unique Homes Magazine as one of Florida’s “Mega Brokers”.
